
Eddie D. Valdez
Eddie was born and raised in Lawton, Oklahoma. Eddie graduated from MacArthur High School in 1978, graduated Oklahoma State University with an engineering technology degree in 1982, and then graduated from the University of Oklahoma with his Juris Doctorate in 1987.
Eddie then went to work for the Comanche County District Attorney’s office in 1988 where he prosecuted criminal cases in Comanche, Cotton, Jackson, Tillman, Stephens, Grady, Payne, Logan and McCurtain counties until his retirement in June of 2014. Eddie has tried over a 150 jury trials regarding every crime from speeding tickets to multiple homicide death penalty cases. There is no crime too small or too large. Eddie believes that everyone deserves justice and diligent representation.
Eddie has been honored as a drug prosecutor of the year as well as being a past-president of the Comanche County Bar. He is also a current member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, Comanche County Bar Association and is admitted to practice before the United States District of Western Oklahoma.
Eddie is also a member of the Comanche Nation.
